Why I Started This Website

I started this website because I thought it would be a good idea to have a website with my own name as the domain: parkerboggs.com. In a world where so much of our online presence is tied to social media platforms, I liked the idea of having a place on the internet that was completely my own.

I've never been a big fan of social media. Instead of posting everything on different platforms, I thought it would be nice to have one place where I could share my photos, write about myself, explore my interests, and simply have a space that represents who I am.

At first, I questioned whether it was even worth creating a personal website. After all, it isn't a business, and I'm not expecting it to make money. I wondered, Why would anyone care about my website? It costs money to keep online, and there's a good chance very few people will ever visit it.

But then I looked at it a different way. Not everything has to be about making money or attracting thousands of visitors. Sometimes it's enough to create something because you enjoy it or because it gives you a place to express yourself.

Since I have some free time, I decided to see what I could build. Maybe this website will grow into something meaningful over time. Maybe it will become a collection of my thoughts, interests, experiences, and projects. I don't know exactly where it will lead, but that's part of the reason I wanted to start it in the first place.
